The 15-year-old Franco-Irish girl, suffering from a slight mental handicap, disappeared in the middle of the night while staying in Malaysia with her family. After several days of research, his body had been found on August 13 in the forest “when his physical and mental state would clearly have prevented him from making this journey alone in the middle of the night”.

“After several months of non-response and incomplete communications between the family, their lawyer and the Malaysian authorities, the latter ended up in an accidental death, neglecting the investigation of hypotheses considered extremely important for the family”, affirm the two elected.

According to them, “internal proceedings under Malaysian law could have made it possible to reopen the investigation, but the Attorney General refused, concluding with an NFA (No Further Action) on this case”. “We await an inflection of the Malaysian justice to finally shed light on this affair and on the tragedy lived by the Quoirin family”, they add.
