Sharq- (Beirut):
On Monday, one of the families of the victims of the Beirut port explosion filed two criminal complaints against Justice Minister Henry Khoury and Finance Minister Youssef Khalil, in the Lebanese interim government, before the first investigating judge in Beirut.
These two complaints came, according to the statements of the victims’ families, “following the persistent refusal of the finance minister to sign judicial formations without any legal basis, and the persistence of the justice minister in offering illicit solutions that come with the objective of for the benefit of some of the defendants in the dossier of the attack on the port “.
Each of the two complaints included “convictions of the two ministers for these criminal acts, and ended with a request to arrest them in presence and refer them to trial”.
