“Kicking” mechanical “box” LADA Vesta – “migraine”, which many motorists dream to deal with. But resourceful “messengers” on Drive2 have found a solution in a couple of budget life hacks.

The car “kicks”, it was especially acute when shifting from 3rd to 2nd gear. The motorist punched in a crankcase check valve and sealed its connections with plumbing rubber bands.

The seals “from the market” were perfect for 100 rubles per set:

“I disconnected the plugs, put on the rubber bands all the way and snapped them back. The plugs immediately stood up like a family and the backlash disappeared, ”the motorist writes, adding that the number of rubber bands is individual – somewhere 2, somewhere 3.

I had to tinker with the valve: the branch pipe “hardened” and burst, it had to be replaced, which cost another 450 rubles.

Result:

“The car went completely differently. Twitching disappeared when switching, when you release the gas pedal there is no sharp nose pecking. The price of a happy ride is 100 rubles for rubber bands and 450 rubles for a valve. “

Replacing the penny tube from the absorber valve to the intake manifold with a petrol-oil-resistant reinforced hose, as well as additional sealing of quick-release couplings, gave the desired effect: Vesta stopped twitching, and besides, the knock of the right engine support disappeared.

Required: a piece of hose 70 cm, 2 self-clamping clamps 13 mm.

“Work for 5 minutes – cut off the hose, put clamps on it and pull it over the valve and intake manifold fittings,” the driver shares.
