Twitter is appealing to public opinion on how it should deal with world leaders on the platform, especially those who break the site’s rules.
“Politicians and government officials are constantly evolving in the way they use our service, and we want our policies to remain relevant to the ever-changing nature of political discourse on Twitter and to protect the health of the public conversation,” we read. a new blog post from Twitter posted Thursday. “This is why we are re-examining our approach to world leaders and asking for your input.”
