Twitter stopped enforcing its rules on spreading coronavirus misinformation on Nov. 23, it reports Agency. This means that the social network will no longer block accounts or delete messages that spread false information.
Twitter did not explain the decision. It’s also unclear what role new owner Elon Musk played in creating him.
Musk bought Twitter about a month ago for 44 billion dollars (more than 42 billion euros). Since then he has reversed many measures taken by the previous owners.
Former US President Donald Trump was allowed to do this last week go back to Twitter. It was banned after the storming of the Capitol in Washington in January 2021. Musk also wants to restore other suspended accounts.
