Twitter is working on features to improve the tone on the platform. The function, dubbed “Filter and Limit”, should automatically recognize when users receive hurtful or insulting responses. These users could then activate a filter function that automatically hides offensive replies. Accounts that have already attracted insulting tweets in the past would generally be excluded from responding if the “Filter and Limit” function was activated.
