One of the most popular streamers on Twitch, Dr. Disrespect has disappeared from Twitch. In an email to The Verge, the platform hints that the streamer violated the Twitch rules, but no definitive reason is given.
Twitch left a few days ago know that the sexual harassment on the platform was going to be stricter, but it is not clear whether that has to do with Dr. Disrespect. Against The Verge Twitch says on the matter that the “standard process is for us to take appropriate action when a streamer breaks our rules, regardless of their status within the community.”
According to The Verge, Dr. Disrespect in the top ten of the platform’s largest streamers. In fact, in March of this year, so just three months ago, Dr. Disrespect an exclusive two-year contract with Twitch. Before that, the man received one according to himself “life changing amount”. It is not known whether or not that money should be partially refunded.
