All of your belongings fit in a small car. Tobias Bayer (49) and Michael Paris (45) emigrated from Switzerland to Fuerteventura – their 20-year-old Clio filled up to the roof. The “Adieu Heimat” cameras from 3+ or the TV makers “Auf und Away” were always there on their adventure abroad.
–
Now it’s time to pack suitcases and boxes again, load the small car and head back to Switzerland. In mid-November, the two of them gave up their cocktail bar and clothing boutique “Stars” on Fuerteventura, and they had to close in June due to the corona pandemic.

From this weekend, the two of them are on their way back to Switzerland with their Clio. “We will embark at 6 p.m. and move into our cabin. After that we are on the high seas for 36 hours. Then the real adventure begins. “

Road trip through Spain and France
From Spain it goes three days across Europe, first through Spain, then France and then to Switzerland. “We have to see how it all works because of the corona,” said Bayer.
–
They are not sad about saying goodbye to the island. «We already gave up our business in mid-November. Not that much holds us here anymore. The tourists can no longer come, everything is very bleak. People are no longer motivated and have no perspective. “

Your beloved Büsi Moon is already in Switzerland. The kitten was already allowed to fly here by plane and is just getting used to the Swiss temperatures, Bayer says with a laugh. And: “We have chilled the last bottle of champagne from the shop and will drink it before we leave to toast the wonderful time here.”
