TV 2 experiences: Extends the break for AstraZeneca

There is still too much unclear about any links between the vaccine and the deaths due to blood clots and bleeding.

According to TV 2’s experience, the Norwegian health authorities have decided that the break for the AstraZeneca vaccine will be extended.

– We have confidence that the Norwegian Medicines Agency and NIPH will make wise assessments of this. If you need more time to clarify causal relationships, it makes sense to spend time on it, is assistant health director Espen Rostrup Nakstad’s comment on the information.

He says that he himself does not know the assessments for the decision in detail.
