turnover almost doubled in the 1st half

(CercleFinance.com) – Valneva posted total revenue of 93.2 million euros for the first six months of 2022, compared to 47.5 million in the first half of 2021, with growth of 4.7% for product sales and a near quadrupling (+281%) of other income.

The company specifies that it has earned 3.8 million euros in revenue from the first sales of the vaccine against Covid-19, for which it has received four marketing authorizations (European Union, United Kingdom, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates ).

Valneva claims as of June 30 a cash position of 336.2 million euros, including 90.5 million euros from Pfizer’s recent investment in the company under a share subscription agreement.

For the 2022 financial year, it expects its total turnover to reach 340 to 360 million euros, in particular taking into account the recent amendment to its advance purchase agreement with the European Commission for the vaccine against Covid-19. 19.
