Turkey is committed to its own corona vaccine: ‘Also available as a booster’ Abroad

Turkey has already used the vaccines of the Chinese Sinovac and Pfizer/BioNTech. The country of 84 million has administered approximately 130 million doses of vaccine.

Turks who initially received a foreign vaccine can also be vaccinated with the new drug. “No matter what vaccine you got for this, you can get Turkovac as a booster,” said Health Minister Fahrettin Koca.

Turkish President Erdogan announced last week that the new vaccine had been approved through an emergency procedure. He has also announced that his country wants to make Turkovac available worldwide. Turkey has not yet released detailed information about how effective the drug is against hospitalization and death.
