Rachel McAdams promotes the movie “The Story Of Fire Saga”, which can be seen on Netfliks from June 26. The production shows the history of the fictional band Fire Saga, wishing to take part in the Eurovision Song Contest.
In this context, McAdams referred to the band Tulia and the song that represented Poland in the final of the 64th Eurovision Song Contest in 2019.

The Tulia group was successful, winning the prime minister’s competition in 2018 during the 55th National Song Festival in Opole thanks to the song “You are still gone”. The group was popular due to folk performances of popular music hits, including songs “Enjoy the Silence” Depeche Mode, “Nothing Else Matters” from the repertoire of Metallica or “Nieznajomy” by Dawid Podsiadło.
The band performed on May 14 during the first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest. He fought for the promotion with the following teams: Slovenia, Belarus, the Czech Republic, Montenegro, Cyprus, Serbia, Finland, Hungary, Estonia, Portugal, San Marino, Iceland, Georgia, Australia, Belgium, Ukraine and Greece.
“This is a black horse of the competition”, “a song worth the finale”, “fantastic voices and great costumes” – Internet users commented just before Eurovision. Ultimately, Polish vocalists took 11th place with 120 points (record among Polish starts), but did not get promotion to the finals.
