Tuchel delighted Harry Kane is staying at Tottenham because…

London

Manager Chelsea Thomas Tuchel admitted that he never targeted Harry Kane in the market last summer, but he thought the striker Tottenham Hotspur it will move to Manchester City.

Chelsea brought Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan to answer problems on the front lines. So far, the Belgian striker is able to answer it with a score of 4 goals from 4 matches. Lukaku’s official tag is also ‘cheaper’, which is 97.5 million Pounds.

Meanwhile, Tottenham were reluctant to let Kane go despite being offered £150 million by Man City and ultimately chose to stay. Even so, so far Kane has not scored at all in the Premier League.

ahead of Tottenham vs Chelsea, Sunday (19/9) at 22.30 WIB, Tuchel also talked about Kane, who will be the figure to watch out for in his back row.

“I think that (Kane moving to Man City) will happen,” said Tuchel, quoted Sky Sports.

“But he was never on our list, nor have I spoken to Marina (Granovskaia, director) Chelsea) to recruit him.”

“But the club has taken care of the situation. There are a lot of people around the player, there are advisers, agents, people in between, and we have information from those people.”

“But the situation is never that close, so we don’t have to experience a rivalry (between Tottenham and Chelsea). We know about the rivalry (city team), but I don’t think the feud will go that far (Kane move to Chelsea),” clear Tuchel.

The 48-year-old German coach is even happy if Kane stays at Tottenham. What’s the reason?

“I’m glad he stayed because in football, it’s beautiful when a player plays for only one club throughout his career.” Tuchel.

Harry Kane is Tottenham and even for me – I have nothing to do with them, never worked for them either – when I think about Tottenham over the last decade I think of Harry Kane, and that’s a good thing.”
