Donald Trump called as a compliment the words of the Russian dictator Putin that Joe Biden is more preferable for the Russian Federation as President of the United States.
“President Putin of Russia just paid me a big compliment. He just said he would rather have Joe Biden as president than Trump,” Trump said at a campaign rally in North Charleston, writes ABC News.
According to him, the dictator will prefer Biden’s victory, since Trump, during his presidency, damaged the interests of the Russian Federation, especially with regard to the construction of Nord Stream 2. “I stopped Nord Stream 2, and [Байден] approved it immediately after I left, so Putin is not really a fan of mine. He wants Biden because he will be given everything he wants, including Ukraine,” he added.
As he writes The New York Timesin his speech, Trump also said that Biden is “going to give” Ukraine to Putin.

Let us recall that the former American president recently said that he would encourage Russian aggression towards the countries of the North Atlantic Alliance that make insufficient contributions to defense.
The White House condemned him, calling his words “terrible and baseless,” and NATO pointed out that such assumptions undermine the entire security of the Alliance.
US President Joe Biden noted that no American leader has ever bowed to a Russian dictator.
