US President Donald Trump said on Sunday that he would not give up on the rejection of President-elect Joe Biden’s victory, insisting on the allegations of alleged electoral “fraud”, although the courts have downplayed his campaign’s allegations.
“My opinion is not going to change in six months,” Trump said in a phone call to the conservative Fox News network, the first since the November 3 election.
“There has been a tremendous amount of fraud … massive fraud,” he added.
Trump’s renewed criticism in this interview contrasts with the court rulings that rejected his team’s allegations of “fraud” due to lack of evidence.
“Saying that an election is unfair does not make it that way. The charges demand specific charges and then evidence. We have neither here,” said, on Friday, Judge Stephanos Bibas of the Philadelphia (Pennsylvania) Court of Appeal, who was appointed by President Trump himself to the post.
On Thursday, Trump had signaled that he would step down if the electoral college voted for Democrat Joe Biden.

This Sunday, the counting of votes in Wisconsin, required by the president’s campaign, was completed, maintaining Biden’s victory by a margin of 20,000 votes, which is expected to be certified in the coming days.
