One of the construction companies in Singapore opened a job vacancy for a truck driver. The salary is not kidding, equivalent to Rp. 30 million to Rp. 40 million!
In a job advertisement on the Singapore government job portal, MyCareersFuture, building and construction company Preethi Engineering PTE. LTD., opens opportunities for truck drivers. Applicant must have a Class 4 driving license (heavy vehicles and tractors above 2,500 kg) with a clean driving record.
This job vacancy has gone viral on social media. Netizens are confused about the job requirements, one of the criteria is that the applicant has at least a diploma degree.

Another requirement is more than 10 years of driving experience. In addition, prospective applicants are willing to work on night shifts or overtime if needed. The required truck driver had to work six days per week. The next requirement is that prospective applicants have knowledge of the area and routes.
The salary offered is quite high, ranging from SG$ 2,800 to SG$ 3,800 per month. If converted into the equivalent of Rp. 30-40 million.
His duties and responsibilities are to deliver construction materials to the required locations and carry materials such as electrical, mechanical, soil, sand and cement equipment. Next, instruct workers to work everyday and hold regular meetings. Then shuttle workers to dormitories and workplaces; loading and unloading construction materials; as well as perform general work if required on site. Applicants must also be prepared to perform ad hoc duties assigned by managers and supervisors.
According to AsiaOne, Preethi Engineering confirms that the requirements, including the requirements for a diploma degree, are not typos. It was explained that the position did require a diploma. You see, drivers are also required to attend meetings with developers to discuss development projects.
