According to the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources (MARN), Tropical Storm “Grace” maintains influence over the country with moderate to strong showers and storms. Hurricane Grace has been downgraded to a Tropical Storm, but may strengthen as it moves into the Gulf of Mexico.
For the night of this Thursday, showers and storms are expected in the volcanic chain and northern strip of the country, as well as falling trees and billboards, due to the influence of the trough generated by Tropical Storm Grace.
By Friday the sky will be from cloudy to cloudy. During the morning there will be rainfall in the coastal sector of the country, in the afternoon and early at night it will be in the northern fringe and high and mountainous areas, which will move at night and early in the morning through the rest of the territory.
These precipitations will be of the shower type and moderate to occasionally strong storms, accompanied by gusts of wind and electrical activity.
Grace will cease to influence the country on August 21, but a new tropical wave will generate rains and storms, the Environment Ministry said.
