On February 19, 2021 there is a battle of the giants: Amazon is with the new series “We children from Bahnhof Zoo”* started. In parallel has Netflix the 1st season of the German production „Tribes of Europa“ made available. But we will probably never find out which streaming service can attract more viewers. Netflix and Amazon don’t measure clicks the same way – and they don’t necessarily disclose the values. It would be more exciting to take a look at the reviews that will arrive in the next few days.
Was in advance „Tribes of Europa“ compared to the Netflix hit “Dark”. It remains to be seen whether the new German series will be just as successful. „Dark“ came to a total of three seasons. So the first question is whether „Tribes of Europa“ gets a 2nd season at all.
“Tribes of Europa”: The plot of the new Netflix series from Germany
In a post-apocalyptic Europe, all countries have broken up into even smaller micro-states. Individual tribes fight each other, there are hardly any laws and rules any more. In the midst of the chaos, the three siblings Liv, Elja and Kiano discover a strange artifact that a crashed pilot was carrying with him. What they could not have guessed: Hostile tribes are looking for the item. The siblings therefore have to flee and fight for survival.
The actors play the main roles of the characters Liv, Elja and Kiano Henriette Confurius, David Ali Rashed and Emilio Sakraya. The actors are in other roles American Foroutan (Varvara), Ana Ularu (Grieta) and “Dark” star Oliver Masucci (Moses) can be seen. The streaming service put its first trailer online several weeks ago.

Shortly after new episodes of a series have appeared, expresses himself Netflix only in rare cases to further seasons. Fans usually have to wait a few weeks for the streaming service to publish a statement on the fate of a production. This also applies to „Tribes of Europa“.
