“Treat prejudices to improve access to care” [Webinaire Santé Mentale]

There is no health without mental health; to be in good health is to be in good physical and mental health: we all have mental health, reminds us of the WHO. What are we talking about when we talk about mental health? What allows it or, on the contrary, weakens it? What place does it have today in the health system? Are we all equal in the face of it? How does society view mental health? How to improve mental health by improving access to it? the importance of the central place of the patient, of peer helpers, the question of representations … are the questions which will allow this subject to be approached in its medical, political and ethical aspects.

At the heart of debates on ethical issues, the Mutualité française Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes and the Espace de Réflexion Ethique Régional Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes invite you to attend an online round table on mental health entitled « Address prejudices to improve access to care » :

Monday September 27, 2021 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Various experts will provide their insights and share their views on this real public health issue:

  • Monique Limon, Member of the 7th constituency of Isère
  • Doctor Edouard Leaune, psychiatrist at the Vinatier hospital in Lyon and doctoral student in philosophy at the Institute for Philosophical Research
  • Severine salgado, Managing Director of Mutualité Française
  • Olivier Paul, vice-president of the UNAFAM 69 delegation, member of the UNAFAM AuRA Operational Committee, President of the PTSM 69 GA (Territorial Mental Health Project)

This round table will be moderated by Loïc Rivers, journalist.
