Some influencers believe they are masters of modern rhetoric and philosophy. In their official profiles they launch bizarre messages that give the appearance of being an opinion without figures. This is what happened yesterday with the famous youtuber ElRubius who wrote in a tweet: “Wow, I suppose all the Twitter moralists who lynched me 1 year ago for going to Andorra will stop using the platform, right?“This comment has been launched next to a photograph where it could be seen that the Twitter platform has entered the list of defaulters in the Spanish state in 2021 with a debt of more than 800,000 euros.
ElRubius’ tweet was directed at none other than those who a few months ago criticized his decision to go to Andorra to pay less taxes. Although many of his followers, and influencers friends, have agreed with him without question, the truth is that the comment makes little sense. Users who criticized his decision to leave criticized him as a person, for his comments. That people use a platform that owes money to the Treasury is not a problem as long as those people pay their respective taxes. The fault in any case would be the Spanish state that does not claim that money by all means.
