Due to repair work after storm Eunice, there were no trains running between Alkmaar and Hoorn on Sunday morning and fewer Intercity trains between Alkmaar and Den Helder. On Sunday evening, in view of new gusts of wind, the NS will use fewer trains between Den Helder and Zaandam.

The repair work lasted until 12 noon. The NS runs largely according to the planned timetable. Only on a few routes were there no trains on Sunday morning due to the repair work after storm Eunice.
Update: The NS has announced that a modified timetable will apply between Den Helder and Zaandam on Sunday evening after 8 p.m. as a precaution. One instead of two Intercity trains runs per hour between Zaandam and Alkmaar. Travelers between Amsterdam Central and Den Helder can change trains in Heerhugowaard.
