Wind is expected from the east with gusts of up to 50 kilometers per hour, and the temperature will be between a minimum of 17 degrees and a maximum of 22 degrees.

As for Thursday, mostly cloudy to partly cloudy skies are expected, with winds from the southern sector that will rotate to the southeast. The minimum temperature will be 18 degrees and the maximum 27.

Beyond the situation in the AMBA region, the National Meteorological Service (SMN) issued storm alerts in four provinces and projected the evolution of the panorama in the coming days.

For this Tuesday, according to data from the SMN, yellow level alarms apply in part of the provinces of Neuquén, Chaco, Corrientes and a large part of the territory of Formosa. There, “possible meteorological phenomena with the potential for damage and risk of momentary interruption of daily activities” are expected.

In Neuquén, the storm alert covers the afternoon and night, affecting the towns of Añelo, Loncopué, Picunches, Ñorquín, Pehuenches, Chos Malal and the southern area of ​​Minas.

On the other hand, in Chaco, the warning includes the areas of Chacabuco, Comandante Fernández, Doce de Octubre, Dos de Abril, Fray Justo Santa María de Oro, General Belgrano, Independencia, Libertador General San Martín, Mayor Luis Jorge Fontana, Nueve de Julio, O’Higgins, Presidency of the Plaza, Quitilipi, San Lorenzo, Sargento Cabral, Tapenagá and Veinticinco de Mayo.

In Formosa, the warning affects the towns of the capital and the areas of Laishí, Pilagás, Pilcomayo and Pirané. Meanwhile, in Corrientes, the alert applies to the departments of Berón de Astrada, Empedrado, General Paz, Itatí, Mburucuyá, Saladas, Corrientes, San Cosme and San Luis del Palmar.

In the aforementioned regions, storms are anticipated, some locally strong or severe, accompanied by intense electrical activity, strong gusts, occasional hail falls and, mainly, abundant falls of water in short periods, according to data from the SMN.

Regarding rainfall, it was specified that accumulated precipitation values ​​are estimated between 40 and 60 millimeters, which could be exceeded from time to time.

Given the yellow alert level for storms, the SMN recommends not taking out trash, removing objects that may obstruct the flow of water, avoiding outdoor activities and not taking shelter near trees and electricity poles that may fall. Likewise, to minimize the risk of being struck by lightning, it is advisable not to stay on beaches, rivers, lagoons or pools; Stay alert to the possible fall of hail, get information from the authorities and have an emergency backpack ready with a flashlight, radio, documents and telephone.
