Tragic Death of Young Artist Shocks Team of Play ‘Charlie’

A state of great shock is experienced by the team members of the play “Charlie,” which is currently being shown, starring Mohamed Fahim, written by Medhat El Adl, and in which a large number of Egyptian artists participate.

They were all surprised by the death of the young artist Ahmed Essam, after he had been with them at the show on Friday evening, and they all remained together until the early hours of Saturday morning.

But the show’s hero, Mohamed Fahim, mourned the deceased via his official Facebook account, and the funeral was held at noon on Saturday from the Sayyida Nafisa Mosque in Cairo.

The late artist began his artistic career since childhood, where he participated in the National Children’s Theater, before two years ago he joined the “Charlie” troupe, to participate with them in the theatrical show that has continued since that time.

The members of the theater group are experiencing great shock, after they were surprised by the death of the young artist hours after leaving the theater, after he had been with them for long hours.

The play’s hero expressed his shock, saying, “May God have mercy on you, my love. We were still performing together yesterday.”

The shocking surprise was announced by Egyptian artist Adel Shaaban via his Facebook account, where he confirmed that the young artist died following a painful accident while returning from the theater.

The Egyptian artist revealed that the late artist joined his brother, who also died a few years ago in an accident while going to the theater.

He expressed his sadness for the condition of their mother, Mrs. Nawal, who works as an employee at the National Children’s Theater.
