“Traffic Jam on the Strada della Forra: Cars Stuck on the Way to Lake Garda”

The Strada della Forra is known for its narrow width. During the holiday season, it is only accessible from one side. But that doesn’t seem to have reached everyone, as a video shows.

Lake Garda – Annoyed family members, bawling babies and aching buttocks. Getting to the resort can be quite tiring. The many hours in the car require proper preparation. Sufficient food and drink must be provided and entertainment in the form of music or audio books should not be missing. Above all: If you travel by car, you always have to be prepared for possible traffic jams or other imponderables. Travelers on their way to Lake Garda have now had a painful experience. A video on TikTok shows the incredible scenes.

Traffic jam on the way to Lake Garda: cars are stuck

Lake Garda is one of the most popular holiday regions in Italy. The Mediterranean country recently presented measures to limit mass tourism. The lake in the north of the country is not directly affected. Nevertheless, thousands of people are drawn to Lago di Garda every year. A TikTok video now shows how a long line of cars has formed on the narrow embankment – annoyed people and stationary cars. A pan with the camera shows the cause of the trouble.

There is no progress on the road, which is only a few meters wide. A large SUV with a German license plate wants to go in the other direction. Unfortunately, the road seems too narrow. The cars don’t fit past each other. And this problem is actually well known. The well-known stretch of road “Strada della Forra” can only be used on one side in the uphill direction during the holiday period, from April 1st, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The return trip to the lake recommends the Info website gardasee.de via Limone sul Garda. At night, the road is passable on both sides.

TikTok video: “I don’t want to see the problem, I want to see the solution”

While the motorists affected have very little to laugh about in view of the tricky situation, the video on the video platform provides a lot of amusement. The video has already been clicked 14 million times. Ten thousand comments collect below. The users are most interested in how the problem was solved: “I don’t want to see the problem, I want to see the solution” or “Yes and no?”. Others can’t help but gloat. One writes: “Legends say they are still standing today” or “Leave them, buy new ones”.

Depending on what time the video was taken, anyone driving down the street from above would be wrong. Or the scene happened before 10 a.m. and the oncoming black SUV is just too wide.
