Thanks to an outstanding performance from Trae Young, the Atlanta Hawks have won against the Miami Heat. The Philadelphia 76ers prevailed over the Brooklyn Nets in overtime. The Milwaukee Bucks had no trouble with the Detroit Pistons.

Detroit Pistons (19-39) – Milwaukee Bucks (47-8) 106:126 (BOXSCORE)
- That was clear to the Bucks, who never got into trouble. In the meantime, Milwaukee led with 34 points. At halftime, Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton had only two points less than the entire Pistins team (39.41).

Antetokounmpo had digested the fight in the All-Star Game well. The MVP contributed 33 points and 16 rebounds to the victory. The same was true for Middleton, who got 28 points. Eric Bledsoe contributed 19 points. For the Bucks it was the 15th win in their last 17 games.

Detroit has lost all five games since Andre Drummond’s trade to Cleveland. It was the eleventh loss in their last 13 games. After the buyout from Reggie Jackson it is already clear that the Pistons have no more ambitions this season.
- Christian Wood was the Pistons’ best thrower with 18 points. There were a total of seven players on the field who were already active for both teams. Two of them started near Detroit, Tony Snell and Thon Maker. Then there were Brandon Knight, Wood and John Henson. At the Bucks, Ersan Ilyasova and Middleton have played for the opposing side before.

- Such a first All-Star Game can inspire you. This is definitely true of Trae Young. The point guard set a new career high against Miami with 50 points. Young hit 8 of his 15 triple attempts and 18 of 19 free throws. Young scored 14 of the first 18 Hawks points in the final quarter and was uncontrollable.
- Miami led with 124: 119, but then didn’t score until the end of the game. DeAndre Hunter equalized with a three, Cam Reddish then gave Atlanta the lead after a steal to Goran Dragic. Young then brought the game home from the free-throw line.
- The Heat are still in a low. Miami have lost five of their last six games. The 28 points from All-Star Bam Adebayo didn’t help either. Dragic scored 19 points from the bench.
- Solomon Hill made his debut for the Heat after Miami recently traded him out of Memphis. Jae Crowder, also brought in by the Grizzlies, was the first to equip the Heat and displaced slam dunk champ Derrick Jones Jr. on the bench.
Philadelphia 76ers (35-21) – Brooklyn Nets (25-29) 112:104 OT (BOXSCORE)
- The Sixers are still a bank in the local Wells Fargo Center. Against Brooklyn they drove the 26 victory in the 28th home game. If it would work out now. Philly only has a score of 9-19 there.
- It was a game that was shaped by runs. The Sixers quickly led 22-6, but Brooklyn then ran a 44-8 run by half-time. Thanks to Joel Embiid, Philadelphia came back in the third quarter.
- In the end, Brooklyn had the chance to win. Spencer Dimwiddie gave the Nets a two-point lead with a fadeaway jumper. Then Embiid leveled from the free throw line. Dimwiddie then dribbled the clock down, stuck to Wilson Chandler, but Embiid was distressed and unable to make a good throw. It went into overtime and there Philadelphia dominated thanks to bankers Alec Burks and Shake Milton (5).
- Embiid was the dominant player of the game with 39 points and 16 rebounds. Tobias Harris got 22 points, Burks got 19 points. In the Nets, Caris LeVert was the best thrower with 25 points. Dimwiddie got 22 points.
