Huajuapan de León, Oaxaca.-Nelsy Hernández Jiménez, representative of the civil association, “Kendrick Una Luz de Esperanza”, announced that with the objective of bringing joy to children in a state of vulnerability in Huajuapan and the region, the association she represents began the toy collection, for which he invited the general public to make a donation of new toys or in good condition from this date until January 5, at the address located on Lázaro Cárdenas Street #25, Antonio de León neighborhood from this city.
He explained that the toys received during December and until January 5 will be delivered by the Three Wise Men on a tour that will take place through colonies on the outskirts of Huajuapan de León.
This activity is done year after year by the association with the purpose of bringing joy to children from neighborhoods in this municipality and some communities near Huajuapan that do not receive toys on this special date for them, he mentioned.
The collection is active and will be valid until January 5, “so that on Three Kings Day on January 6, these gifts can be shared; “A hug and a smile are offered to the little ones in vulnerable situations.”
Hernández Jiménez shared that another activity carried out by the “Kendrick Una Luz de Esperanza” association on a permanent basis is the collection and donation of clothing in good condition, achieving the delivery of an estimated six tons to communities in the region such as: San Juan Yolotepec, Santa María Yuxichi, Santa María Tutla, the Antonio de León agency, in Huajuapan to the Fidepal neighborhood, among others.
