Denmark has never had more tourist overnight stays than in the first six months of the year, figures from VisitDenmark show.
The number of tourist overnight stays in the first half of the year increased by 3.6 per cent, compared to the same period last year.
The number of foreigners who stayed overnight increased by a whopping 11.2 per cent in the same period.
– I am pleased to see how tourism in Denmark continues to flourish and attracts visitors to our beautiful country, says Denmark’s Minister of Industry Morten Bødskov.
– Tourism is crucial for growth and jobs throughout the country, he adds.
