Toulouse: hospital workers forgotten about Covid premiums demonstrate

the essential
This Tuesday, several employees of the medico-educational institute of Montaudran were gathered in front of the ARS Occitanie in Toulouse. Their demands? These hospital civil servants employed by so-called autonomous establishments (in this case the CCAS) were not included in the Ségur de la Santé.

“Same job, same hardship, same salary!” Launches this white coat. This Tuesday, at 1:30 p.m., medico-psychological helpers, educators, educators, nurses, nursery assistants, secretaries, etc. Many staff from the Medico-Psychological Institute (IME) of Montaudran were gathered in front of the regional health agency of Occitanie in Toulouse to voice their discontent. These employees of the hospital public service were not included in the Ségur de la Santé. For them, no bonus, no increase of € 183.

The reason ? They are attached to a so-called autonomous establishment, in this case, the Toulouse CCAS. “The agents are with a public at risk and this since the beginning of the epidemic, details Anthony Dos Santos, of the Force Ouvrière union. The government does not seem to take the measure of the inequalities that they are creating in the hospital public service. All having the same status, the remuneration of the agents will be differentiated. ” He continues: “We are not considered as caregivers. However, during the first confinement, the agents were mobilized and redeployed in nursing homes where there were needs.”

“There has been feedback elsewhere with the ARS, this is progressing, assures Jean-Philippe Attia, of the FO 31 territorial and hospital group. The various medico-social agents attached to hospitals (as in Muret), were able to benefit from the Ségur. The agents of the private sector for their part received 160 €. But for the agents of the civil service of so-called autonomous establishment, nothing. The consequence is that we will witness a desertification of trades. ”

“We are the forgotten ones of Ségur, affirms Isabelle, employee of the IME of Montaudran. We are managed by the CCAS, but it is all the same the ARS which pays us …” Beside her, Christelle holds up a sign that reads: “Same status, same Segur. Specialized education lasts.”

At 2 p.m., a trade union delegation was received within the ARS.
