Toulouse. Accident, curfew and traffic jams

The end of the day turned into a real ordeal for motorists, this Sunday evening, on the Toulouse ring road. Several factors have contributed to the creation of major traffic jams. First, a car and a motorcyclist collided at exit 33, Sesquières, on the outer ring road. About fifteen firefighters as well as the Samu went there. When they arrived, the biker, a man in his thirties, was in cardio-respiratory arrest. The relief efforts made it possible to keep it in operation. He was rushed to Purpan hospital as an absolute emergency.

In addition, the curfew set at 6 p.m. caused a peak in traffic just before 6 p.m. which, added to the accident, caused major traffic jams. They gradually subsided.
