Tottenham, goodbye to the League Cup after losing on penalties against Fulham
The London team said goodbye to the competition by losing this Tuesday, from eleven meters, in the second round against their neighbors (1-1; 5-3).
It was the first defeat for coach Ange Postecoglou in charge of the ‘Spurs’, who are experiencing a title drought that dates back to 2008.
And Andoni Iraola, Bournemouth’s Spanish coach, enjoyed his first victory since his arrival in English football after beating second division Swansea 3-2.
The Basque coach’s team had drawn with West Ham and lost with Tottenham and Liverpool in the first three days of the Premier League.
