Tottenham Coach Confident in Harry Kane’s Commitment amidst Bayern Munich Interest

The new Tottenham coach speaks in a confident tone about Harry Kane’s future.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou has confirmed that captain Harry Kane is fully committed to Spurs amid growing interest in his services from Bayern Munich.

Tottenham is currently in Perth, Australia, as the London team prepares for the new season, and Postecoglou has held talks with Kane about his future.

“I had a good conversation with Harry,” Postecoglou told a news conference on Monday morning. “There was nothing shocking as people look, it was just a normal conversation.”

He added, “I introduced myself to him, and we mainly talked about the club, where he is already with us, and where he thinks he can improve further.”

And he added: “There are a lot of people who know Harry better than me, he is here and while he is here, he is completely committed to what we do, and that is the way I saw it.”

The Spurs coach added: “The discussion wasn’t really about the future, it was more about the team and what we do. Harry is the same as all the other players.”

“It’s about working hard as a group as we go forward, some will be in the whole journey and some won’t, but a lot of that is decided along the way, it’s not something I ask of people at the beginning.”

“We have almost a month until the season starts, and the transfer window is still open, so we’ll see what happens,” Postecoglou concluded.

Bayern Munich recently made two offers so far to Tottenham to buy Kane, the last of which was worth 100 million euros, but the English club is said to value his star at about 125 million euros.

And while Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is not yet convinced of Harry Kane’s release, Bayern chief emeritus Uli Hoeness believes they will find a way to sign the England captain.
