“Total War: Pharaoh – A New Antiquity-Based Addition to the Series”

We probably just learned the subtitle of the new part of the Total War series. It was noticed on the official website of the series – it was enough to expand the list of categories, and Total War: Pharaoh could be seen among them. However, this item was quickly removed.

This clearly indicates that the new part will take us to antiquity, namely to the Egypt of the pharaohs, the period between 3000 and 30 BC (it is difficult to determine the exact time frame).

It’s hard to say if this was just a mistake, or if the Creative Assembly was deliberately trying to promote a new game. If there’s anything to it, we can look forward to concrete details being announced in June at Summer Game Fest 2023 or another similar event.

That’s not all that the British developer has prepared. Yesterday in the profile of the Total War series in Twitter an intriguing video. In it, we see how soldiers from Empire or Napoleon: Total War are sailing on a ship. One of them takes out a telescope and sees dancing orcs from the Warhammer universe through it.

Maybe it’s just a joke, or maybe we’re dealing with some sort of “Man O War DLC” announcement, offering the naval combat that the community has been craving since the release of the first installment of the Total War: Warhammer sub-series.

If the guesses of the players turn out to be correct, TW: Warhammer 3 will most likely receive such an expansion. However, this is unlikely to happen too soon – there is not a single mention of such a novelty in the recently released roadmap.
