2. US veterans defected to Russia, now war against Ukraine

A former US soldier named John McIntyre has defected to Russia. He claims he deliberately joined Ukrainian forces to gather intelligence that is now being used against Kyiv, according to Russian media.

John McIntyre, served two years in the US military. He joined the ranks of the Ukrainian International Legion, fought with Kyiv troops before defecting to Moscow in February 2023, according to an interview with Russian media, RT.

3. Russia continues to attack Ukraine even though the ICC issues an arrest warrant for Putin

Russia continues to pound Ukraine after the issuance of a decision by the International Criminal Court or ICC which issued arrest warrants against President Vladimir Putin and Russian officials for children’s rights. The Ukrainian Air Force said in the early hours of Saturday that Ukraine was attacked by 16 Russian drones late on Friday.

In a Telegram post, the Ukrainian Air Force command said that 11 of 16 Russian drones had been shot down in the central, western and eastern regions. Among the areas targeted were the capital Kyiv and western Lviv province.
