Top Gear Finland starts – A huge danger in the first episode – 2024-02-23 00:10:47

Presenter Christoffer Strandberg goes to the test track to test the acceleration of the luxury Tesla.

Top Gear Finland – series starts on Saturday on Nelose and already in the first episode we see a dangerous situation. Presenter Christoffer Strandberg has taken the Tesla Model S Plaid to an acceleration test, with which he heads to a closed test track.

Strandberg tests the car’s acceleration and finally the speedometer shows 277 kilometers per hour.

– I don’t know if we can talk about the car with that. Rather, it’s an entertainment center that can accidentally, and very easily, kill you, as seen in this photo, Strandberg describes in the studio after the test drive segment.

A picture appears on the studio screen, where Strandberg is standing between the Tesla he is test driving and the little girl. It’s only a matter of a couple of meters that the car would have roasted right into the slop.

In the middle of the drive, Strandberg realized that he had forgotten a very important thing.

– I wanted to get an even harder time on our test track. I got 277 kilometers per hour on the odometer until I remembered that the car has ceramic brakes and we hadn’t warmed them up enough before driving, so the car didn’t want to stop. It was enough that I didn’t drive this rather expensive car to Pöpelikko on the first day of filming.

Fellow presenters Teemu Selänne and Ismo Leikola look at the picture in disbelief.

– It would have been very close if we had only two presenters here, Selänne is horrified.

Top Gear Suomi is hosted by Chrisoffer Strandberg, Ismo Leikola and Teemu Selänne. Four
