Every week, the Video Games Federation Belgium (VGFB) provides us with a list of the top 5 best-selling games in Belgium.
In week 10 of 2024, there are notable games in the top 5. In first place is the co-op shooter Helldivers 2. In Helldivers 2 you play a soldier who has to protect Super Earth from evil aliens on distant planets. You do this by conquering surrounding planets and driving aliens away. Helldivers 2 is playable on PC and PlayStation 5. There were many server problems upon release, but most problems have now been resolved.
Then numbers 2 to 4 are very interesting, because they are all classic Command & Conquer games. That’s because EA has put a collection consisting of 10 games and 7 expansions on the Steam sale for a price of just €9.98. Classics such as Command & Conquer Generals, the less well-received Command & Conquer 4 and the fantastic Red Alert 3 Rising have also sold a lot in recent days. Finally at number 5 is the new show wrestling simulation game WWE 2K24. This game celebrates the 40th anniversary of WrestleMania. Players can relive the most iconic moments from the past 40 years in WWE 2K24 Showcase. Gameplay switches seamlessly to live action with real footage from old events for an immersive experience. The game features more than 100 playable characters including legends from the past, but also fairly new stars. Stars like “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes, Bianca Belair, The Rock, John Cena, Rhea Ripley and Roman Reigns are playable.
