Most people have a bucket list of things they want to do before they die. Whether it’s skydiving, climbing Mount Everest, or visiting all fifty states, bucket lists are traditionally a way of life and death preparation. However, what about when you’re still living and have time on your hands? What should be on your bucket list as an adult?
No matter what you are currently doing in life, try your absolute best to find time for one or all of the following activities on your bucket list:
1) Take a trip in a luxury yacht
Spending a day on the water surrounded by friends and family with nothing to worry about but the sights is an experience everyone should have in their lifetime. For those with plenty of money, yachting offers the perfect opportunity to take a trip around the world. However, for those busier than ever and who have little time to spare, yachting may be their only opportunity to cruise the world’s oceans for a day.
Similarly, if you want your bucket list to be one of your priorities in life, do it sooner rather than later. For example, try yachting now rather than traveling ten years from now when you’re retired and have no motivation anymore.
2) Become a high roller
Securing your slot at the roulette table is a great way to spend some time. The thrill of playing for high stakes at high roller casinos keeps players on the edge of their seats. Which strategy should you use? On the one hand, you could try to get lucky by gambling in hopes that it will pay off.
While some view high-rollers as those who gamble their life savings away only to lose everything, this is not the case when they go in prepared and level-headed.
Although it is something you can do at any age, skydiving is one of those activities that will make you feel more alive than anything else before or after. It’s one thing to be content with living each day, but it’s another to jump out of a plane and feel the adrenaline pumping through your body.
The exhilaration of skydiving is unique, and not everyone will enjoy it. If you’re not someone who can handle the thrill of a free fall, however, this probably isn’t the activity for you.
4) Take an adventure vacation in an exotic locale
There are numerous reasons why people would take a vacation to a far-away place. Maybe they want to learn some new skill or pick up some new hobbies while taking a break from their routine life. Perhaps they want to escape from the cold winter weather. Or maybe they just want an excuse to take a trip with their loved ones and soak in some of nature’s beauty.
Whatever your reason for an adventure vacation, you will want something that doesn’t disappoint. The best way is to pick a country you’ve never been to before and explore it. If the USA isn’t doing it for you, or you already see too much of it, try Chile, New Zealand, or Peru. The world is your oyster.
Bucket lists are important. You don’t want to forget about them during the most crucial years or when you are at your weakest. When the stakes are high, it’s easy to lose sight of why you’re doing what you’re doing.
Instead of letting your reasons for bucket list items slip away, make it a priority to have one and do everything you can to complete it as soon as possible.
