Please note, most countries in America require a visa as a condition of travel. A visa is a permit document issued by a destination country for someone who wants to enter a country.

For those of you who still want to vacation in countries on the American Continent but are worried that your visa application will be rejected or not approved, don’t worry. Because, there are several countries on the American Continent that do not require visas for tourists from Indonesia. Which countries? Here’s the review.

Barbados

Barbados officially became the youngest republic in the world after breaking away from Britain and inaugurating its first president, Dame Sandra Mason, on November 29 2021. Rihanna’s hometown is one of the stunning sea tourism destinations in the Caribbean.

For those of you who love marine ecosystems, Barbados is the right choice because it has more than 60 beaches that are open to the public. One of the popular activities in Barbados is swimming with turtles at Carlisle Bay, Holetown, and Drill Hall Beach.

If the visa-free stay in European countries is only 30 days, you can visit Barbados without a visa with a stay of 90 days or about three months.

Bermuda

Bermuda is a visa-free country with no stay time limit for Indonesian passport holders. This country, which is located in the North Atlantic Ocean, has seven main islands and 170 other islands.

The position close to the water makes Bermuda a ‘paradise’ for beach lovers. One of Bermuda’s famous destinations is the pink sands and stunning Cerulean waters.

Apart from natural beauty and attractions, Bermuda also offers various historical sites that can be added to travelers’ tourist lists.

One of the popular historical sites in Bermuda is Fort St. Catherine in St. Petersburg George is a legacy of British colonial rule. Apart from St. Cathering, Bermuda also has Fort Scaur in Sandy Parish and Fort Hamilton which are no less interesting to visit.

Brazil

Brazil is a country in South America that has beautiful cities and amazing natural attractions. The 5th largest country in the world has tropical and subtropical landscapes so it has animal and biological diversity.

Bolivia

Apart from that, Bolivia also has a popular destination, namely Lake Titicaca. Lake Titicaca is the highest lake in the world and the second largest in South America with a height of 3821 meters above sea level (masl) located on the border of Peru and Bolivia.

If you want to visit Bolivia, you need to have a 90-day Visa on Arrival (VoA). VoA is a temporary entry permit document given by the government of the destination country to foreign citizens who wish to enter their country.

Chile

Chile is one of the countries in South America which has the longest coastline in the world, which is around 6,500 km. This country, which directly faces the Pacific Ocean, has amazing natural beauty that would be a shame not to visit.

One of the favorite destinations for travelers visiting Chile is Rapa Nui or Easter Island. For Indonesian netizens, this island which is ‘inhabited’ by 1,000 stone statues may be familiar because it has been adopted as a popular emoji on social media.

In 1995, UNESCO officially named Easter Island a World Heritage Site.
