In anticipation of Christmas, the updated and supplemented sheet music edition “100 most popular Christmas songs” has been released. The first edition of this book was released in 2013, and now it has been supplemented with 10 more songs.
The book contains classics of world-famous Christmas songs from the past, as well as the brightest works of Latvian composers, including the favorite songs of Raimonds Pauls, Jānis Lūsēns, Mārtiņš Brauns, Ainars Virgas, Mārtiņš Freimanis and other authors.
The new version of the book has been supplemented with 10 more songs, and now the book already contains 110 songs. The updated version includes notes and lyrics of the song “Warm Heart” by the group “Musiqq”, Dona’s Christmas song “Golden Sleigh”, the heartfelt composition of the group “Bird Ball” “Two Angels”, as well as several new songs by Raimonds Pauls with the words of Guntars Račs.
The sheet music of the new edition was reviewed and corrected by Rūdolfs Bērtiņš and Juta Bērziņa. The artistic design of the book was created by Guntars Ošenieks.
