The new car market in Germany is dominated by the Volkswagen models Golf, T-Roc and Tiguan, but what cars do Germans choose in the used car market?
The publication Focus.de looked back to the year 2022 and gathered information about the used car market, paying attention to such a circumstance as the color of the car.
It turns out that when buying a used car, the buyer almost always chooses a German product – there are eight of those in the top ten, and the remaining two (Seat Leon; Škoda Fabia) represent the Volkswagen concern. And what is interesting is that it is not a large-sized car or a crossover at all, because excluding the Mercedes C-class, the rest of the top ten cars belong to the compact and small class, while crossovers are represented by only one model – the Volkswagen Tiguan.
Regarding colors, Germans prefer gray, black and white tones, relegating blue, red and silver to lower positions.
