TOMSK, April 17 – RIA Tomsk. The fare for buses, trams and trolleybuses in Tomsk may rise by 2 rubles in the coming months; The increase was approved by the tariff commission of the mayor’s office, said Olga Skhina, head of the committee for organizing passenger transportation of the mayor’s office, speaking to city Duma deputies on Wednesday.
It was previously reported that the fare in Tomsk changed for the last time in February 2023. Since then, the fare on buses has been 27 rubles, on trams and trolleybuses – 25 rubles. For people of retirement age, a bus ride costs 24 rubles.
“We had a tariff commission in December. The tariff commission voted to increase the tariff (for travel on buses, trolleybuses and trams) … by plus 2 rubles. The corresponding draft resolution is now undergoing the approval procedure, and the date says “the next day from the moment of official publication,” Svakhina said.
She added that after approval by the authorities, the project “will go” to the prosecutor’s office: “In the next two months, in any case, an increase can be expected.”
