Tomorrow, the Sphinx square in Giza will be completely closed in the direction leading to Ahmed Orabi Street, Shahr

The Giza Governorate has announced the closure Sphinx square Entirely, in particular the direction that leads to Ahmed Orabi Street; To connect the current Corps Bridge 15 May with the new extension, starting at 1 am on Friday 11/11/2022 and for a month ending Saturday morning 12/10/2022 provided that the works are 24 hours.

This is part of the completion of construction works for the extension of the May 15 Bridge in both directions within the Giza Governorate, as part of the works on the extension and development project of the Alternative Corridor 26 July.

Major General Ahmed Rashid, Governor of Giza, has ordered the head of the Agouza district to follow and coordinate with the Giza traffic directorate general and the company carrying out the work to facilitate traffic in the vicinity of the business.

As a result, the Giza traffic directorate general made the following traffic diversion:

1- The movement of vehicles coming from League of Arab States Street and wanting to continue walking towards Ahmed Orabi Street, heads towards 26th of July Street on the surface road of the 15th of May Bridge towards the turning located under the bridge of the May 15.

2- The round trip back to 26th of July Street, up to Ahmed Orabi Street.

3- The movement of vehicles coming from Nile Street and wishing to travel the Nile Corniche Street in the direction of Al-Galaa Square walk on the 26th of July Street on the surface road of the 15th of May Bridge in the direction of the new turning located under Bridge 15 May.

4- Then it will turn around and go back to 26th of July Street, up to Nile Corniche Street.

The General Direction of Roads, in coordination with the company executing the works, installed guidance and traffic warning panels, headlamps and light mills, and assigned the necessary road services throughout the company to ensure the provision of liquidity traffic and maintaining the safety and security of citizens.
