Tomasz Szczepanik left his fiancée for the manager
Tomasz Szczepanik and Monika Paprocka met in 2007. The band “Pectus” played their debuts on the stage in Opole at that time. Monika was the manager of “Varius Manx”. At that time, no one thought that a feeling would arise between them. Szczepanik was getting ready to marry his fiancée at that time. Paprocka, on the other hand, already had a husband and two children. However, it was for Monika that the leader of the “Pectus” band left his fiancée nine days before the wedding, while Monika Paprocka divorced her husband for Tomasz.
In an interview for TVP Woman, Szczepanik confessed:
I was in a serious relationship with another girl. The wedding was planned, the church and orchestra ordered, the wedding paid for, and the white dress hung in the closet. The date has already been set.
It was a difficult decision. I regret the seven years I spent with my fiancée, all the good times and bad times.
The singer finally realized that he felt something for the manager of the band “Varius Manx”, which he informed the woman with whom he was involved at the time.
I told her straight, it seemed inevitable.
I told her “I can’t cheat on you after the fact”. I’m not ready for that right now, and the wedding won’t happen.
Tomasz Szczepanik still had to face the reaction of his family.
Half of my family wanted to deport me and half of them said “this is your decision, very difficult, but you made it before”
– said Szczepanik in an interview with TVP Woman.
Despite everything, the couple managed to create a successful relationship. They had a son, Stanisław.
