“Tom Cruise Rumored to be Interested in Shakira After Split from Piqué”

Last summer it became known that the artist Shakira (46) and football star Gerard Piqué (36) had called it quits after twelve years as lovers.

This weekend she was present at the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Miami, and here she was pictured with a well-known face – and the pictures have naturally started speculation among several people.

The person depicted standing close to the artist and smiling at the camera is the well-known actor Tom Cruise (60).

A source tells Page Six that the aforementioned speculations may actually have some substance, and expresses that Cruise is “extremely interested in hijacking” Shakira.

– There is chemistry there, says the source to the website, and continues:

– Shakira needs a soft pillow to land on, and that could be Tom.

In fact, Cruise is said to be so interested in the “Waka Waka” singer that he’s also hit the bass drum and sent her flowers, according to the source.

– And – she is not taller than him either, says the source, referring to Cruise towering 170 centimeters above sea level.

As mentioned, Shakira and Piqué were a couple for 12 years, and together they have two children, Sasha (8) and Milan (10).

Cruise, for his part, has been married twice, most recently to Katie Holmes (44) from 2006 to 2012. Since then, he has reportedly had an on-and-off relationship with “Mission: Impossible” colleague Hayley Atwell (41), who according to The Sun ended last year.
