The quarter-final matches in the men’s volleyball tournament were scheduled from the beginning on August 3 (Tuesday) from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. local time (2:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. EST).
The first to compete (at 2:00 am Polish time) was the winner of group A (Poland), who was to play with the fourth team of group B (France). It was with this in mind that preparations for this match were carried out in the Polish coaching staff.
