Toho has released the title of the latest “Detective Conan” movie today, November 29th.
The title of the latest work, the 27th Detective Conan movie, is “Detective Conan 100”, which follows the movie “Detective Conan: Black Iron Submarine” released in April 2023. Selected as the “100,000-man dollar Michishirube”. It is scheduled to be released on April 12, 2024. At the same time, a teaser visual drawn by the original author Gosho Aoyama has also been released.
The stage this time is Hakodate, Hokkaido. In the center of the teaser visual, “Heiji” and “Kazuha” are depicted looking at each other with red cheeks, and Heiji opens his mouth with a serious expression, finally confessing to Kazuha, and the relationship between the two is drawn. I can feel the excitement that things are about to progress. Immediately above him is the figure of Conan’s destined rival, “Kid the Phantom Thief,” also known as “The Illusionist Under the Moon,” with a fearless smile on his face… In fact, Heiji has a relationship with Kid, as he almost kissed her in the past without realizing that he was disguised as Kazuha. Furthermore, in the lower left corner, you can see Momiji Ooka, who introduced herself as Heiji’s fiancée and appeared as Kazuha’s rival in “Detective Conan: Crimson Love Song” (2017). It foretells a love story.
Will Heiji, who has been forced to confess his feelings to Kazuha by the Shinichi and Ran couple and misses the timing to confess to Kazuha, finally be able to convey his feelings to Kazuha in this work? What is the treasure that Kid is aiming for in Hokkaido, and how does the Goryokaku, a famous Hokkaido landmark depicted in the background, relate to the “Goryo Star” in the title?

Detective Conan, which began serialization in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday in January 1994, has been loved by many fans for many years, and will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2024.
It has also been decided that the commemorative “30th Anniversary Detective Conan Exhibition” will be held across the country starting in January 2024, starting with Tokyo (Ikebukuro).
