Today’s History: iPhone First Released

On June 29, 2007 Apple first released a product called the iPhone

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, LONDON – On June 29, 2007, Apple’s technology company for the first time released a product in the form of a cell phone that was named the iPhone. Its founder, Steve Jobs, launched a new product from a smartphone which was then a rigid device.

Reported by Busineess Insider, smartphones display websites that don’t work on mobile phones, so companies are forced to make mobile versions of their sites. Then, the iPhone changed all that.

However, the typical smartphone experience that we all enjoy today doesn’t happen overnight. It took years for Apple to add feature after feature. By current standards, the original iPhone is a primitive brick.

First announced on January 9, 2007 by Steve Jobs, the iPhone is considered one of Apple’s most secret secrets, but it is still the most awaited device of all time. Before the opening at the Macworld Expo, technology blogs published monitors containing details about the iPhone.

Apple fans dreamed of illustrating this fairytale device. A few days before the iPhone finally landed June 29, hundreds of fanatical consumers camped outside Apple and AT&T stores for devices worth 600 dollars.
