As of today, the first three regions in Italy are white zones. Most of the restrictions are in place in Sardinia, Friuli-Venezia Giulia and Molise, there is no more curfew, the 7-day incidence is below 20. In two weeks, all of Italy should be white, according to the scientific advisory board. So far it had been said that South Tyrol only had a chance of becoming a white zone on June 21st. Because:

Regardless of the classification into danger zones, bars and restaurants will be allowed to open their interiors throughout Italy from tomorrow Tuesday without a test requirement.

For the first time in seven months, the number of corona fatalities on the national territory has fallen below the threshold of 50 per day. 44 people died on Sunday with or from the corona virus, the lowest level since October 14. 83 fatalities were reported on Saturday. The number of detected new infections has also recently declined, falling from 3351 on Saturday to 2949 on Sunday.

The vaccination campaign is soon to be extended to children between the ages of 12 and 15. Today, the Italian Medicines Agency Aifa is expected to follow the EU Medicines Agency and approve Biontech Pfizer’s vaccine for this age group.
