To support health resolutions in 2023, Netflix will feature sports with Nike

California, Gizmologi – Sports programs on Netflix? For those of you who have health resolutions in 2023, you are sure to be pleased with this news.

If Netflix usually leaves its subscribers lying down while they watch TV shows and movies, not this time. Yes, the video streaming platform is partnering with Nike to create sporting events that get their customers moving.

The program is a sports program of the Nike Training Club which will be present on December 30th. It is expected that this program will be divided into two lots, where the next lot will be presented in the next year period.

For its first batch, the sporting event has five programs containing 90 types of exercises made up of 46 different videos. All programs are available in 10 languages.

As a leak, this sporting event has six episodes of “Fall in Love with Vinyasa Yoga” inviting customers to practice vinyasa yoga. Then there’s “Two Weeks to a Stronger Core” which consists of seven episodes that focus on strengthening the core of the body, such as the abdominal and lower back muscles.

Sports events for beginners

In its official statement, Nike said that this program features all levels of fitness with little or no equipment that includes various types, durations and intensities of exercise.

But for starters, there are two shows titled “Feel-Good Fitness” and “Kickstart Fitness with the Basics” which consist of six and 13 episodes, respectively.

“The latter two are probably more relaxed beginner programs for people just starting their fitness journey,” reads the statement reported by TechRadar, Friday (12/23/2022).

Just so you know, this isn’t the first time Netflix has brought health and wellness content to the table. In January 2021, this platform launched sports content, Headspace, which teaches you to meditate.

It must be admitted that Netflix’s “alternative” content is less popular than TV and movie services, considering that video game services on this platform were previously less popular. However, it seems we have to appreciate Netflix’s move to feature diverse content on its platform.
