JAKARTA, RADARKAUR.CO.ID -To knock! The new BBM rules apply for the next 8 days. As of January 1, 2023, the circulation of 3 types of fuel is prohibited in Indonesian territory.
3 The types of fuel that are prohibited for sale are those with octane ratings RON 87 and RON 88 known as the Premium brand.
Then refuel with an octane rating of 89 or Revvo 89 brand owned by PT VIVO Energy Indonesia.
On the other hand, there were 3 types of Pertamina fuel at the beginning of December 2022 which have undergone price changes. The 3 types of fuel that change in price in question are non-subsidised fuels.

Each is known by the brand names BBM Pertamax Turbo, Dexlite and Pertamina Dexlite.
These 3 types of Pertamina fuel are of high quality. This can be seen from the octane levels it contains.
Pertamax Turbo has an octane rating of RON 98. Meanwhile, Dexlite has a cetane rating of CN 51 and Pertamina Dexlite has a cetane rating of CN 53.
So what is RON?
