Title defense! Bence Rétvári was again the most agile representative in the Parliament – Dunakanyar Region

Bence Rétvári, the parliamentary state secretary of the Ministry of the Interior, spoke the most in the parliament. It’s no surprise, since he already became the record holder last year.

Bence Rétvári, as the deputy of the Minister of the Interior, Sándor Pintér, is responsible for many areas – including education and healthcare – which may explain his primacy. You must frequently answer interpellations and oral questions.

In 2023, the Christian Democrat politician spoke 227 times for a total of 15 hours 13 minutes 44 seconds in the meeting room.

On the website of mfor.hu, which came up with the data, you can also find that Bence Rétvári spoke 210 times last year, i.e. in 2022, and spoke for a total of 14 hours 36 minutes 2 seconds. In other words, this year he surpassed not only the other parliamentarians, but also his own result last year.

Bencé Rétvári is followed in this year’s ranking by István Apáti and Lőrinc Nacsa. It is interesting that Lőrincé Nacsa won the imaginary bronze medal in 2022 as well. In addition to the “defending” first-place Bence Rétvári, Lőrinc Nacsa of KDNP also spoke 113 times this year, his speeches lasted a total of 10 hours 19 minutes 44 seconds.

It should also be noted that the statistician does not include the various technical speeches – chairing the meeting, the clerk’s announcement – in the list of substantive speeches.
